Animal Hospital of Statesville has expanded our hours to serve you and your pets. While we are not a 24-hour hospital, our hours will often give you an option for urgent or emergency care without leaving Statesville. We encourage our clients to call us first to ensure we have the room in our schedule to see your pet. We may have other emergencies already in-house and may be unable to provide the care your pet needs at the time you call. We will make every effort to see your pet. However, if it's determined by a doctor that your pet would be better served by going to an Emergency Clinic, we will make that recommendation.
*URGENT CARE EXAM: Urgent care appointments are reserved for day-of appointments for last-minute vaccination requests and sick patients.
**EMERGENCY EXAM: Emergency exams are for emergency cases that the owner has called in, and we have agreed to see the patient that same day, but our schedule is fully booked.
***EMERGENCY WALK-IN EXAM: Walk-in exams are charged if owners did not call to try and be scheduled as an urgent care appointment or emergency appointment, OR if the schedule is fully booked and we are still willing (and able) to work the pet in.
- Monday through Friday: Call-in for urgent care* same-day appointment $91.40
- Monday through Friday: Call-in to see if we can work your pet in for emergency** care prior to coming in $106.40
- Monday through Friday: Walk-in emergency*** without calling first to see if we can provide proper care for your pet: $126.40
- Saturday & Sunday: Emergency** Call in first to see if our schedule allows us to see your pet: $126.40
- Saturday & Sunday: Emergency Walk-In*** (not recommended) Walk-ins means that owner did NOT call prior to bringing pet in for treatment. Please note that it is possible that we CANNOT provide proper care at that time for your pet and may refer you to a nearby emergency clinic. $151.00
Calling ahead saves you time by helping us determine whether we are able to treat your pet in a timely manner or if you'd be better served by driving directly to an emergency veterinary facility. Emergency hospitals forward our patients' records to us so that we may be informed and can more easily follow up on our patients' conditions.
