Veterinarian
Dr. Brett Pendergrass joined the Animal Hospital of Statesville team in 2009. In addition to providing quality care, he has expanded the advanced soft tissue and surgical procedures offered at Animal Hospital of Statesville.
Dr. Pendergrass graduated from the North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. A Statesville native, he came to AHS after a successful career in equine medicine "because of the high quality services provided and performed here, the opportunity to learn, grow and further myself as a small animal veterinarian".
With extensive training in advanced surgical procedures, Dr. Pendergrass expanded the capabilities of the team to offer the best possible care for our patients. This includes minimally-invasive laparoscopic procedures, advanced soft tissue procedures, and orthopedic procedures, such as fracture repairs and the Modified Maquet Procedure (MMP) for cruciate ligament injury repair. Dr. Pendergrass' ability to solve problems with creativity and practicality - combined with the care and compassion he brings to every client and patient - makes him a phenomenal asset to the practice. He truly has the best interest of his patients at the core of everything he does.
