Meet Our Skilled Guest Services Assistants

Kelly joined our team in 2023. She was born in Amsterdam, NY but grew up in Rensselaer, NY where she graduated from Rensselaer Senior High School.

Add Nykkole to our crew of Statesville natives! Born and raised here, she came to Animal Hospital of Statesville to find her dream job of working with animals. She attended CATS (Career Academy & Technical School) where she studied art and photography. She is married to Mark.

Betty joined our Guest Services Team in April of 2024. She's another local - born and raised in Iredell County. She attended North Iredell High School. Betty also went to school for Cosmetology. She and her husband, Jack, have a Miniature Poodle to round off their family.

Melissa is ANOTHER one of our Statesville natives. She graduated from Statesville High School and then went on to earn her BS in Elementary Education from University of North Carolina, Charlotte. Melissa swore that when she retired, she wanted to work with animals, so...here she is!

Quito is another of our well-traveled staff members - born in Panama City, Panama. He great up in Arizona where he graduated from East Bay High School.

Britney joined our Guest Services Assistants team in 2024. She is originally from the western US, specifically Phoenix, Arizona. She grew up there, as well, and graduated from Peoria (AZ, that is) Accelerated High School as a valedictorian! She focused on general studies in high school.
