Veterinary Patient Care Team
We have so many staff members from the Statesville area, and Emily - AKA "Em" - is one of them! Em graduated from North Carolina School of Science and Math in 2023. She is currently attending Hollins University in Virginia, pursuing a B.S. in Biology, with plans to apply to veterinary school after graduation. Em came to Animal Hospital of Statesville as an intern, wanting to learn as much as she could in order to further her veterinary experience and knowledge which, of course, helps increase her chances of acceptance into vet school. She couldn't get enough of us, so she applied to work here and help us out in the meantime!
Em has 2 cats and 2 dogs. She enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and swimming.
Animal Hospital of Statesville benefits so much from working with our interns and externs. We're happy to be teaching all we can to help the next generation of veterinary professionals excel at their chosen careers. Em is working with our RVTs and VPCs, which also enables her to closely observe our doctors and gain real-life experience to give her better insight into her chosen career path!
