Autumn

Autumn came to us as a shadow student from her high school CTE (Career & Technical Education) class where she was double certified as a CVA, or Certified Veterinary Assistant. She is now a Freshman at Gaston College through the NC Apprenticeship program, earning her Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology to become a Registered Veterinary Technician, or RVT.  Her graduation is planned for 2026. During that time, she is working as a Veterinary Pet Care Team member at AHS, giving her real-time experience for her future profession. Autumn “does nails” as a side hustle, while in college. She plans to get her nail tech degree after she graduates from the vet tech program in 2026. She is also considering going back to school to specialize in surgery as a veterinary technician. This girl’s got goals!

Autumn has 4 Aussies and 1 horse, which she loves to ride. She is fun to work with, and has a wonderful, upbeat personality. We’re happy to have her with us. She also worked here as a Guest Services Assistant, prior to entering college, so she’s a well-rounded addition to Animal Hospital of Statesville!
